CWI's Wireless Network Geo-Location Platform (WiNGP) provides government, law enforcement entities and public safety infrastructures with the ability to estimate the position of a mobile user or event with a minimum error.
Competing solution locate users by fingerprinting a unique set of values based on measurements of neighboring cell signal strengths, time delays and other network parameters. WINGP dramatically improves this approach by mean of a sophisticate mathematical algorithm which computes input parameters and provides the predicted position with a typical accuracy of few tenths of meters in urban areas.
WiNGP allows to:
