Some brief historical notes:

· Comtest was founded in 1994 as a branch of Thermo Electron, an american multinational with products in the EMC/EMF field

· In 1998 it became an indipendent company and began to specialiste also in the wireless market.

· In 2001 Comtest Wireless was fonded as a spin-off of Comtest wrking only on the wireless market.

· In 2008 Comtest Wireless International was established to face the high expansion of the foreign market, mainly in the railway field

The company is structured on three complementary divisions

The products division develops and integrates test solutions for the operators.

The services division provides high level consultancy; in order to carry out this task, it often uses products developed by CWI, granting a significant application know-how.

The distribution division works on the Domestic market as supplier of high solution performances.
